September: Your Northern Sky
7 Sep 2026 to 30 Sep 2026 · 23:59 · Europe/London
The challenge
Share your view of the northern sky and one thing you learned along the way. First attempts are just as welcome as finished projects. A phone photo of the Moon, a wide-field constellation, a planetary image or a deep-sky capture all count. Use the equipment you have; an existing capture is welcome if the weather does not cooperate this month. How to take part Choose one image from your public gallery and add a short note about the target, your equipment and your approach. Include exposure or integration time and filters if relevant, then tell us what worked or what you would try next time. Processing entries are welcome too. Use your own data or data you have permission to process and share, and clearly credit the original source. Only submit an image you have the right to publish. You can replace your entry or update its notes until 23:59 BST on 30 September. Browse the other entries, ask a useful question and help someone take their next step.
